Even though Jeffrey Dean Morgan died in Batman Vs. Superman playing Thomas Wayne, it is possible we could see Morgan again some time down the line.
While it might be a stretch if it will ever make it to the movies, in the DC Comics Flashpoint series, Barry Allen went back in time and saves his mother which causes all sorts of things to change, with one being Thomas Wayne becoming the Batman.
A fan recorded video of Jeffrey Dean Morgan answering a fan question if he would be interested in playing the role.
“Man, I would love to play that Batman… It would be very cool,” Jeffrey Dean Morgan responded and added a while back he was asked if he would be interested in doing a Batman story with, “Are you f’n insane? Of course I’d be interested.”
Jeffrey Dean Morgan also says it will be interesting to see where the movies go and reiterated, “Man, I would love it. I would definitely love it.”
