Universal Studios is bringing back the machete-wielding killer Jason Voorhees for Halloween Horror Nights 2025. The new haunted house, titled Jason Universe, will appear at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood on select nights from August 29 through November 2.
The haunted house celebrates 45 years of the Friday the 13th legacy, taking guests back to the camp where Jason’s story began.

Inside the Jason Universe Haunted House
In Jason Universe, fans will step into the rotted remains of Camp Crystal Lake, from Jason’s shack in the woods to the abandoned main lodge. You’ll hear creaking floors, screams in the distance, and Jason’s blade dragging across cabin walls. The forest offers no protection, and the killer is never far.
Expect references to classic kills and settings from across Jason’s cinematic history. From first-time visitors to long-time fans, everyone will face the same terrifying truth: the legend is real. Watch the teaser below.
