Last week saw the first images of the Kent farm house in James Gunn’s Superman movie surface online which led to Man of Steel stans questioning not only the look of the home but wondering where is the barn.
Gunn is going with a different look than previous versions of the Kent Farm in Smallville, as his choice happens to be a ranch instead of a two-story colonial home with a porch which is used in the comics and other movies and TV shows.
Well, since it’s a farm and a house is located on the property, it’s a farm house, right?
James Gunn is filming scenes at the property this week, so following the first-look images hitting the net from last week, a little detective work reveals the “barn” courtesy Google maps.
As you can see, yes, the Kent farm house has a barn, as the barn is located to the right of the property which wasn’t included in those first images that hit the net last Friday.
There is not only a “barn,” but there are multiple buildings to the right of the primary home as well. Who knows? Gunn could also be filming “barn” scenes at another property that look more like what fans think of as a “barn.”
You can see a large white building in the back, a red building, and then further to the right is a smaller building.
The amount of property is also really big. Check out some more images below.
