The Justice League vs the Guardians of the Galaxy?!
Not quite, but Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director James Gunn and DCEU co-runner Geoff Johns got sucked into a DCEU vs MCU Twitter battle!
Fans were arguing on Twitter about how the WB gives more of their directors creative control over the DCEU movies compared to what Kevin Feige allows with Marvel Studios and the MCU.
If you are not up to speed, it seems Marvelâs Kevin Feige likes to run a tight ship, while DC directors like Justice Leagueâs Zack Snyder and Aquamanâs James Wan are said to have a lot of creative decisions and freedom.
Weâll let you decide which way works best, but both James Gunn and Geoff Johns told the DCEU vs MCU fans there are better things to worry about!
And for what itâs worth, everything seems to be pretty good between the two companies as Avengers director Joss Whedon was present at last nightâs Guardians of the Galaxy 2 premiereâas Whedon is now directing Batgirl for the DCEU!Â
