James Gunn is not one to mince his words as he calls out “scooper” MyTimeToShineHello over a Batman rumor on social media.
MyTimeToShineHello put out a recent rumor claiming that DC Studios wants a middle-aged Batman for the DCU.
“They want to cast a middle aged man to play the DCU Batman. Who would be your pick?” tweeted MTTSH.
Well, Gunn caught wind of the rumor as he is ought to do and blasted the so-called scooper.
“Bullshit,” Gunn fired back on social media.
Gunn also added in his Instagram Story, “Sometimes the rumor folks get information wrong – but other times they seem to just make stuff up for clicks out of whole cloth. This is one of the latter.”
MTTSH returned fire with claims they got the Superman suit and Ultraman rumors correct.
“Remember when the Superman suit and Ultraman were ‘debunked.’ Let’s just wait and see,” said MTTSH.
However, as pointed out by an X “Community Note,” Gunn never debunked the Ultraman rumor, specifically, he just said Lex Luthor is the main villain.
Worth a mention is that Marvel Studios shut down legit scooper CanWeGetSomeToast who seemed to be sharing info with MyTimeToShineHello.
Since Toast got put down, it seems MyTimeToShineHello’s info isn’t as reliable. Recent rumors offer Tom Holland is starring in Spider-Man 4, though.
