James Gunn Casts His Mentor, Lloyd Kaufman, In Guardians of the Galaxy Movie

James Gunn got his start with Troma Films and Lloyd Kaufman before taking on such big named movies as Slither and Super and then moving on to Guardians of the Galaxy.

Now Gunn has returned the favor and is casting Lloyd Kaufman in his Guardians in a small role.

Speaking with CraveOnline about his latest movie, LLoyd Kaufman, let the news be known.

Yeah, he’s giving me a part. I’m going to be in his movie. I’m going to London at the end of June to play a small part.

Kaufman recently released Return to Nuke ‘Em High, the sequel to the hit cult-favorite, Class of Nuke ‘Em High.

The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord and Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer.
