The Avengers: Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely discuss writing the script for the film where footage includes Thor meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy.
As seen in both of James Gunn’s movies and recently with Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok, the characters will be keeping with that comedic routine in Infinity War.
“Thor meets the Guardians is hilarious from start to finish,” McFeely told ETOnline. “Hilarious. And that’s a lot of improv and a lot of structure and a lot of script, but it’s just this magical, little fairy dust thing of characters you love rubbing up against each other.”

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.
