John Williams has revealed the Indiana Jones 5 music score for the character of Helena, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The legendary composer played the music Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl where Williams described Helena in the movie.
“Had a chat with our wonderful director, Jim Mangold, a fantastic man,” said Williams. “Last week we were recording music, James said, ‘Why don’t you play it at the Bowl next week?’ I said, ‘The picture isn’t coming out until next year.’ [James Mangold replied,] ‘That doesn’t matter. Play it at the Bowl next week.'”
Williams continued, “So here is Phoebe’s theme. She’s adventurous. And she is also a femme fatale. She’s many, many things. And her music she hasn’t had lyrical music like an old movie star, which she looks like, so she is young and beautiful and wonderful. Here is Helena’s theme like six months super late [laughs].”

Phoebe Waller-Bridge replacing Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones?
Much like what happened with Disney Star Wars, it is rumored that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is taking over the Indiana Jones franchise from Harrison Ford.
And of course, this should be interesting as a femme fatale is “an attractive and seductive woman, especially one who is likely to cause distress or disaster to a man who becomes involved with her,” and “a femme fatale plays one man off against another in pursuit of money.”
Set pics have revealed Phoebe Waller-Bridge dressed in a maroon corduroy jacket and blue trousers, with rumors offering it “is understood” that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is “playing an assistant to Indiana Jones” in Indiana Jones 5, and that “the gossip on the set is that this character will slot into the leading role.”
“Insiders claim Kathleen Kennedy, the Hollywood producer behind the franchise, is keen to make ‘big, bold’ changes – with few bigger than switching the lead character to a woman,” reported the Daily Mail last year.
The plot is also rumored to take place after Kingdom of Crystal Skrull and is said to be set during the late 1960s – one of America’s most turbulent times – dealing with the space race.
The untitled Indiana Jones 5 has a June 30, 2023 release date also starring Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas. The film is co-written by James Mangold, Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth.
