Last week saw Henry Cavill tease a return to Superman, and now the Man of Steel actor posts a super cool behind-the-scenes video from Justice League featuring both the scores from John Williams and Hans Zimmer.
While the Justice League movie did feature a tease of the John Williams original score, Henry Cavill uses more from the full version in his BTS Superman video, which then transitions into Han Zimmer’s now classic theme from Man of Steel.
“VIEWER WARNING! FOR ALL THOSE NEW EYES OUT THERE, I SHALL BE DRAWING THE CURTAIN BACK A WEE BIT IN THIS POST. VIEW AT YOUR OWN PERIL,” Henry Cavill posted on Instagram. “If you are still here…let me show you behind the scenes on Justice League! Stunt team magic bringing Supes to life, John Williams and Hans Zimmer raising him to those lofty heights…..and then there’s me, who channelling a little bit of Spiderman with my hands….”
As of now there have been no officially announced plans for Henry Cavill to return as Superman in the DCEU, but he is speculated for a possible cameo role in the upcoming Shazam! movie. Another possibility is Man of Steel 2, which Henry Cavill recently said he would like to do, and an announcement is rumored to be made next month at Comic-Con. Henry Cavill also recently called out Dwayne Johnson while posting a video of himself getting into super shape.
“There’s a wonderful opportunity to tell the Superman story,” Henry Cavill recently told the LA Times. “Now there is a fantastic chance to show Superman in his full colors and tell a very complex, character-driven movie that is based on story and have that wonderful sensation of hope and happiness. A feel-good movie with lessons laced in there as well.”
