A plot description for the Hellboy reboot has hit the net in addition to a possible filming start date.
The production website My Entertmaint World lists Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen as being an action / adventure / fantasy / sci-fi / thriller having a film start date of mid-September in Bulgaria and the UK.
The description for the new Hellboy states: The film is about Hellboy going to England, where he must defeat Nimue, Merlin’s consort and the Blood Queen. But their battle will bring about the end of the world, a fate he desperately tries to turn away.
Hellboy has a planned 2018 release date directed by Neil Marshall starring David Harbour as the titular character, Ian McShane is Professor Broom, Milla Jovivich as Nimue the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane plays Alice Monghan and enelope Mitchell will play the role of Ganeida, an elder witch.
The Hellboy reboot script is being worked on by Aron Coleite from a draft by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola.
