Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy gets a new video game as Square Enix, the studio behind the Marvel’s Avengers game, has released a gameplay trailer at the E3.
Worth a mention is that, similar to the Marvel’s Avengers game, this isn’t a part of the MCU, so that is why Star-Lord doesn’t look specifically like Chris Pratt and the characters are not voiced by the MCU actors.
The trailer also notes that it is “development footage” and that it is “subject to change” and that “final product subject to applicable platform limitations.”
Update: Dan Abnett, known for writing the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy series for Marvel Comics, wrote the story for the game and reteamed with his then-editor, Bill Roseman, who is VP of Creative of Marvel Games.
