The full Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer looks to be coming soon.
James Gunn recently released the Red-Band trailer for his latest movie which he wrote and produced with The Belko Experiment, and now tells THR the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer is complete and will be released soon.
"Guardians is the harder one. With Belko, the premise is what people have to buy into," Gunn said. "With Guardians, people really go through every single little shot and try to figure out what the movie's about. And there's a lot of mysteries in Guardians 2."
As Gunn mentions lots of mysteries, the good news is that they aren't going to reveal a lot of what Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is about in the trailer (it's my opinion that revealing too much spoils the movie, such as what happened with The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War).
"We were talking about how much to give away — and we're not going to give away very much," Gunn said.
Gunn continues with talk of comparing the Belko trailer to a new Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer.
"You can show all sorts of stuff happening and it doesn't really give away who lives, who dies, what the outcome is, what the mystery is," Gunn said about the Belko trailer. "With Guardians, it's such an emotional and physical journey, going to all these different places. It's like, 'God, do I really want to show this planet we go to in the middle of the movie? … Those are always hard choices to make."
