“Best physical action star”

“The movie is going extraordinarily well. We’re deep in the process of editing,” Gunn told the excited crowd in attendance. “David Corenswet [pause] is going to blow people the fuck away.”

Gunn continued about Corenswet.

“You know, he is the movie star that everyone just dreams he can possibly be, and I don’t think anyone really understands the depth of this guy’s talent dramatically, comedically, he’s the best physical action star I’ve probably ever worked with. He’s an amazing actor,” said Gunn.

Fans will love Rachel Brosnahan

Gunn also mentioned the additional cast.

“And Rachel Brosnahan, people are going to die for her as Lois. Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific,” said Gunn.

Movie is close to where Gunn wants it

Gunn also said they are presently editing Superman and that it’s getting close to where he wants it as he is tough on the process.

“It has been a great process. The edit is getting really close to being you know good. I mean the movie is good so I feel good about it. I’m really hard on stuff, so it’s been fantastic,” explained Gunn.

Gunn was also asked about the Superman trailer and said not too long.

David Corenswet also recently talked about putting on muscle for the role of the new Man of Steel.

“I thought I’d be happy at 190, but I wasn’t. I wanted to push it,” explained the actor. “So, getting to bulk up for Superman… I was looking for an excuse to really throw on some weight and see what I could do. I thought 210 was going to make me happy, and then I got up to 238. 238 was the peak.

He continued, “I wasn’t 238 when we started shooting. I was 238 at my max, that was crazy. I put on one of those crew neck sweatshirt, Champion, and I put on one of those sweatshirts, and I was like an XL or double XL, and I was like, ‘I fill this out, this is amazing.’ I didn’t fit into any of my pants.”
