While fans patiently wait for the new trailer, an alleged legit GTA 6 leak has surfaced online which shows off Lucia, a main character in the game.
The leak first surfaced on Reddit from user JustLovett0 who claims to have gotten the footage from a friend who worked at Rockstar Games but is no longer at the company:
He is super far from rockstar now, doesn’t work there or in any related field. I’m not worried but I’ll probably delete the post soon enough, I don’t need the likes but I had to get it out there.
GTA 6 leak details
The leak is said to be from mid-2021, and it’s explained the reason the Rockstar offices look empty is because it was during Covid. The office also seems to match up with the Rockstar offices in San Diego.
The leak shows what appears to be a PS5 devkit with early footage, again from 2021 of Lucia who can be seen standing outside a military base/storage facility with containers and two hangers on the right. The image also doesn’t appear to be AI-generated.
GTA 6 is expected to be released later this year. There is still no word when the next trailer drops.

There is already evidence pointing to this being authentic. The leaker deleted his post already but the Metadata and video indicates this was likely taken at Rockstar San Diego in 2021.

The leaker also posted another video of an Xbox Series X devkit labeled “SAND” for San Diego and the IP on it is within San Diego’s internal network range
