Gal Gadot Getting Trained By Tomb Raider Trainer For Wonder Woman 2

Gal Gadot Getting Trained By Tomb Raider Trainer For Wonder Woman 2

It’s learned that Gal Gadot will be getting into even further super shape for Wonder Woman 2.

USA Today posted an article about how Alicia Vikander got into shape for the Tomb Raider movie (check out Vikander’s abs!) with it said that her trainer, Magnus Lygdback, will next be training Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman 2.

Sure, the actress was under the careful watch of health and wellness trainer Magnus Lygdback (who’ll next train Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman 2) for seven months prior to filming. And, yes, she had been a trained ballet dancer years before taking on the role.

Per his official website, Magnus Lygdback “is a world-renowned Swedish health and wellness expert, entrepreneur, and life coach. For over 15 years, he has become best known for working with some of the world’s most recognizable actors, musicians, athletes, artists and high-performance business entrepreneurs.”

A quick check of IMDb also reveals that Magnus Lygdback also trained Ben Affleck for Justice League, James McAvoy for Glass, and Alex Skarsgard for The Legend of Tarzan.

Gal Gadot filmed part of Justice League pregnant, so it seems as if Magnus Lygdback will help get Gadot back in shape for the Wonder Woman role.

Gal Gadot  actually put on 14 pounds of muscle for Batman vs. Superman and the first Wonder Woman movie.

“I gained 14 pounds for the role,” Gadot revealed last year, which included a workout routine consisting of weight training, horseback riding lessons, martial arts, sword fighting, and choreography. “It began with prepping for Batman v Superman. Before shooting began, I trained for six months, six days a week. I was actually allowed to eat whatever I wanted, especially in the first five months.”

I thought Gal Gadot looked great in all three of the DC movies, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeming more of her in Wonder Woman 2.

Wonder Woman 2 has a November 1, 2019 release directed by Patty Jenkins.
