Gal Gadot continues to fuel speculation about the SnyderVerse return.
The actress who is Zack Snyder’s choice to play Wonder Woman shared a batch of throwback images and video from the Batman v Superman press tour, revisiting moments from 2016 as part of a social media trend joking that “2026 is the new 2016.” The timing hasn’t gone unnoticed.
The photos show Gadot alongside the Batman v Superman cast during the film’s push, including press panels, promotional backdrops, and behind-the-scenes moments from the peak of the Snyder-era DCEU.
“You had to be there.. 2016 you were awesome 😜😘♥️,” she posted on Instagram.

Gadot’s post arrives after Zack Snyder shared never-before-seen Wonder Woman images and detailed their original historical concept for Batman v Superman.
Those posts were Snyder’s first DC images since news broke that Netflix won the bidding war to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery.
Like Snyder’s Leica Monochrom photographs, Gadot’s SDCC images look backward, but land squarely in the middle of renewed discussion about the future of the SnyderVerse.
