Viacom bought the rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a reported $60 million according to the Wall Street Journal.

Nickelodeon plans on developing a new TMNT tv series for 2012 using computer generated animation.

“Ciro Nieli, an executive producer of the new Turtles series, says that the coming computer-animated version will be slightly different than past incarnations.”
