We’ve get a good glimpse of Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, straight from the set of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, sporting the grey haired look the character is known for in the comics.
Thanks to a Pedro Pascal fan account on Instagram, the photos of the actor are from the set when filming took place in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. Pedro took time during a filming break to meet fans, sign autographs, and snap a few pictures with local schoolchildren. Alongside him was Joseph Quinn, who plays Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.
The photos show Pascal rocking the classic look from the comics, with the grey hair on the side, which also fits with the movie’s 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic aesthetic. We’ll have to wait until the movie is released to see Pascal in action as CGI will be required for his stretchy superhero powers.
Marvel has shown off footage but it hasn’t been officially released as of yet. Watch the D23 message below. Update: Pascal is also shown what he looks like as Reed on a recent promo for CNN Heroes.

Marvel’s First Family is finally making their MCU debut with a mix of action, family drama, and cosmic threats. Here’s the lowdown:
