A new Hellraiser movie was recently announced minus both Doug Bradley and Clive Barker’s involvement (more on that below).
Hellraiser: Judgement will star Paul T. Taylor (Sin City, Super) as the new Pinhead, and Nightmare On Elm Street‘s Heather Langenkamp (Nancy) also has a role in the new movie as a chain-smoking landlady who snorts obscenities to the police.

Bloody Disgusting also reports Damon Carney (The Veil, The Hitcher) will play Detective Sean Carter, Randy Wayne (To Save a Life) is playing Detective David Carter, Alexandra Harris (In the Shadows, The Veil) will portray Detective Christine Egerton, Jeff Fenter (The Box, Zero Charisma) is playing Karl Watkins, Helena Grace Donald (Portrait of An Art Thief) is playing Jophiel, and Grace Montie (Southern Tale) is playing Crystal Lanning, described as a beautiful socialite who is never far from her beloved little dog, Baby.
Making up the Cenobites in Hellraiser: Judgement are:
• John Gulagher (director of Feast and Piranha 3DD) will star as The Assessor, with the role said to be tied to The Auditor, a character that learns of your sins, your transgressions, your evils, and takes careful note of them before passing them on to the Assessor for judgment.
• Diane Goldner (Halloween 2, Feast 2, The Collector) is playing The Cleaner, a terrifying, aging, naked women clean bodies for punishment by licking them head to toe.
• Mike Jay Regan will once again portray Chatterer.
• Andi Powers is going to play one of the three Jury — perfectly beautiful girls with have faces that have been shredded away, with blood, bone, muscle, sinew and teeth exposed; yhey pass the horrific verdicts onto all offending mortals.
Hellraiser: Judgement is described as: “Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiraling maze of horror that may not be of this world. Could the Judgment awaiting the killer’s victims also be waiting for Sean?“
Doug Bradley not involved with Hellraiser: Judgement
Regarding why Doug Bradley isn’t involved in Hellraiser: Judgement, about 12 days ago saw Bradley take to his Facebook page to offer up that the director on the project wanted him to sign a non-disclosure agreement without even reading a script.
Basically, they wanted Bradley to return to Pinhead with no knowledge of what the movie was about.
The same director also wrote the script for the poorly received Hellraiser: Revelations, which featured a pseudo-Pinhead (not Bradley). As Bradley notes, he wasn’t going to sign on blindly on the project especially considering how bad Hellraiser: Revelations was.
Bradley also says Clive Barker (whose only involvement spanned the first Hellraiser movie and comic books) isn’t on board Hellraiser: Revelations (of which Barker f-bombed) as well.

“Ladies, Gentlemen and Others,
I gather word is beginning to spread about the new Hellraiser movie which is, apparently, already shooting.
First, a point of clarification. This is the first time I have said anything about this. Anything else you have heard me say about any proposed Hellraiser film refers to the constantly rumored remake. And, for the record, I still know nothing about that.
First I heard about this new film was around Christmas in a phone call from Gary Tunnicliffe, who was my make-up artist on Bloodline through Hellworld. Gary, you may recall, also wrote the screenplay for Revelations. He has written and is directing this new effort. I can also assert, contrary to some rumours I’ve already seen, that Clive Barker is not involved with this in any way, shape or form.
Gary said he would send me a copy of the script when he had completed a second draft, but before I could be allowed to set eyes on the precious document, I was required to sign a gagging order. This was a three page document preventing me from talking about the script ‘in restrooms’, ‘on elevators’, ‘in restaurants’ or ‘in cellular telephone conversations which may be overheard’. There was also dark reference to ‘people talking out of turn at conventions’. I read this thing in disbelief, and informed Gary I would not be signing it.
And that’s that. Clearly, I am deemed too much of a security risk to be allowed to read a Hellraiser script. People are starving to death in Syria and they’re worried about me talking about a Hellraiser movie? Get a f—ing grip. Can you say ‘sense of proportion’?
Anyway, story short: a new movie is happening and I have nothing do with it. I was unable to make a decision about it because I was not allowed to read the script, unlike Revelations where I made a conscious decision not to do the movie based on the motives for making it and the poor quality of the script.
