Check out an awesome new look at Jamie Clayton as Pinhead in the new Hellraiser moving coming to the Hulu streaming service next month.
The image graces the latest cover of Fangoria magazine which has a featured article on the new Hellraiser movie including interviews with director David Bruckner and producer David S. Goyer, as well as new Pinhead Jamie Clayton and makeup FX artists Josh & Sierra Russell.
The issue of Fangoria gets released on October 11 and also features a Halloween Ends cover.
Hulu Hellraiser not a remake
Fans have also been wondering if this new flick is a remake, but Bruckner recently said they could never do that to the original.
“This is not a remake,” Buckner confirmed to Entertainment Weekly. “I just didn’t think you could ever remake the original Hellraiser. It’s too much its own thing and it would be, I think, perilous territory for filmmakers, because how do you top that? This is a new story in the Hellraiser universe.”
Worth a mention is that both creator Clive Barker and original Pinhead actor Doug Bradley approve of the new Hulu Hellraiser film.
“What Doug Bradley did with the character is so iconic,” says Bruckner. “We didn’t want to do a Doug Bradley impression, we just didn’t think that’s possible to do. There will be suffering, but you’re going to get a sense of what Pinhead’s desires might be in a way that hits a little different.”
Hulu also released previous images of Jamie Clayton as Pinhead in high-res; check them out below!
