Disney To Screw Over Star Wars: Clone War Fans; Not Revealing Character Fates & Cutting Season 6

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6303:]]Star Wars: The Clone Wars was recently announced to be canceled with Disney soon to be replacing it with another animated series that is part of the Universe not previously seen before.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been a popular show on the Cartoon Network for the past five years giving fans a deeply involved world featuring the Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, in addition to Asajj Ventress, Boba Fett and the bounty hunters storyline.

Fans are left with many questions surrounding those characters, and now we learn no answers will be given.

A source from LucasFilm tells the Force.Net that since production has been disbanded on Clone Wars, Season 6 will be cut short and is now said to be “bonus content.” However, it’s said that the bonus content will not give any resolution to the fate of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars characters.

A source in the know tells me that Lucasfilm is only finishing two story arcs from the material that they had planned for The Clone Wars Season Six. Among the story arcs that will not emerge in this post-cancellation era is one that dealt with Boba Fett and the other bounty hunters who have menaced the heroes for several seasons. This story arc, which my source tells me was almost done, would have shown us the fates of Cad Bane and Aurra Sing.

It seems as if we get further confirmation that the leak comes from within LucasFilm Animation as it’s said they noted the fan response has been minimal, most likely due to Disney announcing that a new Star Wars animated series is in the works, with the intent of the leak to ramp of fan response.

So with that, a new site has been launched to bring back the series or at least get Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 6 completed.

SaveTheCloneWars.com is up and running.
