Disney Updates Marvel Movies Release Date Schedule

Disney has released an updated release date schedule for its Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Disney Animation movies.

For Marvel, interestingly enough, Blade sticks with its November 7, 2025 release date. The script is still getting worked on, the film has no director, and Mahershala Ali is filming the new Jurassic World movie.

Disney also drops an untitled July 24, 2026 release date for a Marvel movie, which presently leaves only one Marvel movie getting released in 2026, Avengers: Doomsday.

If Blade doesn’t make the cut, there will likely be three Marvel movies in 2025, either one in 2026 or two if Blade gets pushed to 2026, and there will be three Marvel movies in 2027 starting with Avengers: Secret Wars followed by two untitled Marvel movies.

The potential untitled Marvel movies could be Armor Wars, maybe Shang-Chi 2 if it ever gets made, and maybe X-Men movies. Likely, Sony will also have Spider-Man 4 somewhere in that mix, maybe that July 24, 2026 release date.

Though not listed, Disney also has Star Wars release dates from Lucasfilm set for May 22, 2026 with The Mandalorian & Grogu, and two untitled release dates: Dec. 18, 2026 (thought to be for the new Daisy Ridley movie which insiders told me at Comic-Con is definitely happening), and Dec. 17, 2027 (possibly the Dave Filoni movie).
