Deadpool & Wolverine now passes Joker at the box office and becomes the highest-grossing R-rated movie at the box office.
As of Thursday, Deadpool & Wolverine has brought in $1.085 billion, which passes Joker‘s $1.078 billion box office.
Deadpool & Wolverine‘s box office includes $516.8 million domestically and $568.8M from foreign grosses. Marvel also released a thank you video to fans.
Kevin Feige responded via Marvel Studios.
“Thanks for making Marvel Studios’ first R-rated movie the biggest of all time. It’s fantastic to see that audiences are loving this movie as much as we all loved making it. All those conversations were worth it!” said Feige in an image that also includes the list of banned cocaine names that weren’t allowed in the flick.

Ryan Reynolds also responded to the news.
“Now imagine if Hugh had done full frontal. With the cowl on of course,” he posted on Instagram.
