DCEU Movie Lineup Confirmed At Brazil Comic-Con

DCEU Movie Lineup Confirmed At Brazil Comic-Con

Those sweating the Justice League movie might have interfered with the DCEU movie slate can worry no more.

Warner Bros. has confirmed the DCEU movie lineup at this weekend’s Brazil Comic-Con, which is the same eight movies announced at this Summer’s San Diego Comic-Con; so we see no apparent changes have been made.

At the Brazil Comic-Con, WB mentioned the following movies are in works for:

  • Shazam (in pre-production, directed by David F. Sandberg, starring Zachary Levi; looking like an April 2019 release date)
  • Wonder Woman II (directed by Patty Jenkins, starring Gal Gadot, for a November 1, 2019 release date)
  • Flashpoint
  • The Batman (being directed by Matt Reeves)
  • Suicide Squad 2
  • Batgirl (being written, produced and directed by Joss Whedon)
  • Justice League Dark
  • Green Lantern Corps

A batch of additional DCEU movies has been said to be in development, but nothing official has ever been confirmed by WB, which is said in various Hollywood trade site reports to include: a slate of Margot Robbie Harley Quinn films (Gotham City Sirens, Joker and Harley movie, a separate Harley Quinn flick); a Nightwing movie; Man of Steel 2; Justice League 2.

It has been reported big changes are coming to the DCEU next month in the form of key changes to management, but at least for now, it appears the eight announced DCEU movies are safe and are going to be made.

Up next for the DCEU is James Wan’s Aquaman movie which hits December 21, 2018 starring Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.
