DC Comics Artist Steve Scott Gives Us Ben Affleck As Batman Concept Art

A piece of Batman character art has surfaced online from DC Comics comic book artist Steve Scott.

And it looks an awful lot like Ben Affleck.

I’m still trying to dig up the backstory on the image, but what’s rather interesting is that Steve Scott is the only artist to have worked on an official adaptation for The Dark Knight which was overseen by Christopher Nolan.

Obviously that does not mean anything and artists are known to at times use celebrities as a reference, but still pretty cool.

We’re guessing the “Ben” listed on the image is former DC Comics editor Ben Abernathy meaning the art is from a comic book from a couple years ago.

The sequel to “Man of Steel” goes into production next year for a July 17, 2015 release also starring Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
