Update: Sigourney Weaver has joined Marvel’s Defenders.
It looks as if Sigourney Weaver has joined the Marvel family.
In an interview with Wired, the subject of Marvel is brought up with Sigourney Weaver stating she’s been watching Marvel movies.
“To me, a good movie you cannot generalize,” Weaver said, regarding the fact there are good parts in both serious and non-serious movies. “I have been watching, for whatever reason, some Marvel movies, and they cast really good actors.”
When Sigourney Weaver mentioned Marvel, she was called out about it, but she wouldn’t give details.
“I can’t tell you!” Weaver replied back.
The article goes on to note Sigourney Weaver is “enthralled by the work Marvel is doing, and by the performers populating their ever-expanding universes.”
“How can you relate to someone flying around with a cape?” Weaver questions. “That takes work.”
It’s unknown which Marvel movie Sigourney Weaver has been cast in, but perhaps she’s joining her fellow ’80s stars in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as the movie features Kurt Russell, Glenn Close and Sylvester Stallone, and maybe even Sharon Stone.
