Known producers on Shazam! include Hiram Garcia, of Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions, and Beau Flynn, who produced Johnson's San Andreas, Hercules, the Journey movies and the upcoming Baywatch and Rampage movie, all of which star The Rock.
Speaking of San Andreas, the Journey movies and Rampage, they all share Brad Peyton as director (Peyton also directed episodes of Aquaman Jason Momoa's Frontier Netflix series).
Twitter sleuths have now pointed out that following the Dwayne Johnson meeting with DC, DC Entertainment president and co-runner of the DCEU films, Geoff Johns, has now followed Brad Peyton on Twitter along with the aforementioned producers.
So it seems as if Brad Peyton is directing Shazam! or at the very least on board Shazam! as a producer. An official announcement has yet to be made.
The Shazam! movie is currently in development for a 2019 release date starring Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam.
I second that @geoffjohns ! Fantastic meeting. Going to be EPIC. Honored to be on this team. @TheRock @hhgarcia41 @DanyGarciaCo #DCUniverse https://t.co/5WdMj14wYk
