Following up on the earlier news of the producer offering big things are coming for Shazam!, Dwayne Johnson has also posted about the meeting with DC, in which he is set to play the anti-hero/villain of the movie, Black Adam.
"Had a very cool and strategic meeting with the heads of DC about their entire universe," Johnson posted on Instagram. "As a hard core DC fan, to get a real sense of the tonal shifts and developments coming in these future movies has me fired up. Something we, as DC fans have all been waiting for for a very long time. Hope, optimism & FUN. Even when talking about the the most ruthless villain/anti-hero of all time finally coming to life. Prepare yourselves DC Universe."

We can guess the meeting Dwayne Johnson took with DC was about the direction of Shazam! and the Justice League slate of movies. While it has been said the Shazam! movie will be given a lot of freedom, we can speculate that some time down the line Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam will meet up with the Justice League. Evidence of this also comes from recent teases that both Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill made regarding Black Adam vs. Superman. Just how exactly it all unfolds remains to be seen, but it seems like it will be worth the wait judging from Johnson's words above.
The Shazam! movie has a 2019 release date, with the director and other actors yet to be announced.⚡️
