Universal Pictures finally announces the first details about Christopher Nolan’s next film as the title is revealed to be The Odyssey.

Who stars?
The Odyssey is set to star Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron. Crazy rumors offered the flick was about vampires or helicopter pilots, likely put out there intentionally to throw people off.

The Odyssey is an ancient Greek epic poem attributed to Homer, believed to have been composed around the 8th century BCE. A straight adaptation or a reimaging?
It’s unknown if Nolan is doing a straight adaptation or reimaging the story for modern times. We can guess that Matt Damon might be playing Odysseus, Tom Holland his son, Anne Hathaway his wife, and maybe Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and Charlizer Theron the gods and/or villains?
