Boot Zack Snyder From Justice League Petition Launches

Justice League begins filming in less than two weeks. Will it be without Zack Snyder?

That’s currently what almost 5000 fans are hoping for, as following Batman Vs. Superman, a petition has been launched on Change.org requesting Snyder be removed from Justice League.

The petition actually brings up a good point, which is not to have a movie that divides the fan base so much. Love it or hate it – Man of Steel or Batman Vs. Superman – it’s never a good thing when audiences are split, right?

That said, more than likely the petition will have little effect whether Zack Snyder continues on with the DC movie universe, but what obviously does is the money. This coming weekend should say a lot regards to the staying power of Batman Vs. Superman. As we saw with Man of Steel, the movie started off strong but ended with a whimper, which led to no Man of Steel sequel and Batman and the Justice League being added to the next movie. So what happens if Batman Vs. Superman peters out?

From the petition:

Zack Snyder is not the person to bring the Justice League to the big screen. He’s had two chances now to adapt DC characters and has produced middling results.

Even if you loved Man of Steel and BvS. There has to come a time when WB and DC want someone at the helm that can create something that WON’T divide people in such a way.

The building blocks are there for a great different set of superhero movies. Good actors and actresses and even directors. Zack Snyder is just not the guy that should be in charge of the biggest and most important films in the franchise. Especially with his track record now.

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gaot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
