Black Panther Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed

Black Panther Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed

Black Panther is already making Marvel history, as the first wave of reviews has landed and the film has debuted with a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Following the review embargo lifting Tuesday afternoon, Black Panther opened with a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on dozens of reviews from critics who attended advance screenings. The early reaction immediately made the Ryan Coogler-directed film one of Marvel Studios’ highest-rated releases ever.

Black Panther Opens With Perfect Score

Critics are praising the film’s performances, action, world-building, and its depiction of Wakanda. Many reviews have singled out Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa and Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger as two of the strongest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the score is expected to fluctuate as additional reviews are added, opening at 100% is a major win for Marvel heading into the film’s release.

Marvel Looks To Continue Box Office Dominance

The strong reviews arrive just weeks before Black Panther opens in theaters and add to growing expectations that the movie could become one of Marvel’s biggest hits.

Early tracking has pointed to a massive opening weekend, while audience anticipation remains high following T’Challa’s debut in Captain America: Civil War.
