Chadwick Boseman Drops Ton Of Weight; Worries Fans

Chadwick Boseman has gone from the jacked Black Panther to something barely resembling the Marvel superhero, which has worried a lot of his fans.

Update: The actor has passed away from cancer at the age of 43.

While in quarantine because of the coronavirus, Chadwick Boseman took to Instagram to post a video to bring awareness to Operation 42 on Jackie Robinson Day (watch below):

Operation 42

I am hearing stories of desperation from people all over the country, and we know our communities are suffering the most and urgently need help. Celebrating #JackieRobinsonDay with the launch of Thomas Tull’s #Operation42, a donation of 4.2 million dollars in personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals that service the African American Communities who have been hit the hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you, Jackie, for refusing to accept the world as it is, for showing us that we can make a difference.

Chadwick Boseman is a vegan

The video shows a rather gaunt-looking Chadwick Boseman – noticeably a lot skinnier compared to when he plays Black Panther – with a bushy beard.

It’s not known if the actor is actually sick with anything, but it has been reported that Boseman is a vegan, which may explain the weight loss.

It could be possible that Chadwick Boseman follows a strict vegan diet when he is not playing Black Panther, and then bulks up for the role come time.

I know from my own experience of following Arnold Ehret’s Mucusless Diet (actually stricter than vegan), that I dropped a lot of weight fast, too, and looked pretty skinny, though I would say I looked a “healthy” skinny.

Back in February actually saw Chadwick Boseman at the NBA All-Star game looking rather skinny as well.

Regarding Black Panther, Marvel Studios recently confirmed Black Panther 2’s May 6, 2022 release date, so assuming it films later next year, Boseman has a lot of time to put on weight, which isn’t too hard to do once you stop following something as strict as veganism.

I’ll also add that both Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth drop weight when they are not playing their Marvel characters and for various roles, but not to the apparent extent of Chadwick Boseman in the following video. Watch below.
