‘Bill and Ted Face the Music’ Reveals Plot With New Images

New images are released for Bill and Ted Face the Music featuring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter with details about the flick’s plot also revealed.

Details include that the third movie in the franchise finds the pair still trying to create music for their band, Wyld Stallyns, which saw them learn back in the first movie that their music would inspire a utopian society of the future. The third movie sees an emissary from the future come and tell them they have to do it right now, and they “literally [have] 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end,” says writer Chris Matheson.

Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan and Bill S. Preston won’t be alone in their quest as their daughters will be on board to help; Brigette Lundy-Paine plays Ted’s daughter, Billie, with Samara Weaving playing Bill’s daughter, Thea.

“The daughters really love their dads’ music and want to help them,” Matheson says.

Anthony Carrigan is also playing Ted’s younger brother, Deacon, who gets thrown threw time as “all time and space is coming unglued.”

William Sadler also returns as the Grim Reaper, but director Dean Parisot only teases: “Death was in the band in the second film. Things didn’t go all that well. But I’ll leave it at that!”

Bill and Ted Face the Music opens August 21, 2020.

Also, check out Keanu Reeves in the movie with a mohawk.
