The trailer for the Batman: Hush animated DC movie has been released offering a look at more footage from the film.
“Batman: Hush centers on a shadowy new villain known only as Hush, who uses Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career, as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life – which has already been complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. Coming late summer 2019,” the video description states.
Batman: Hush is based on Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s storyline from Batman #608. The Batman: Hush movie will be set in the present day in a much more familiar Gotham City. The comic storyline featured popular Batman villains like Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul and the Joker, but it’s also well known for introducing the villain it’s named after—the bandage-faced Hush. While a child version of the character has made a couple of appearances on Gotham, and Hush has appeared in video games like the Arkham and LEGO Batman titles, he’s never before appeared in a DC Universe movie.
Batman: Hush is directed by Justin Copeland and stars the voice talent of Jason O’Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luther, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, James Garrett as Alfred, Maury Sterling as Hush, Geoffrey Arend as Riddler, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, Jason Spisak as Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane, Peyton List as Poison Ivy and Batgirl, Dachie Alessio as Lady Shiva, and Tara Strong as an unnamed reporter.
