The opening scene to The Avengers: Infinity War looks to be huge teases Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige!
Back in 2012, Marvel COSMIC fans dreams came true when it was revealed that the Mad Titans Thanos was featured in The Avengers movie.
It quickly became clear that Marvel Studios was developing an adaptation of the Infinity Gauntlet comic book storyline as the MCU features the Infinity Stones (Infinity Gems in the comics) with Thanos seeking them.
Thanos has appeared a couple of more times and most recently in The Avengers: Infinity War trailer.
Last week at the Brazil Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige let it be known via live satellite that Thanos won't disappoint, and Feige goes so far as to say that the first five minutes of The Avengers: Infinity War will explain why Thanos is such a bad ass!
"You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film. Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming. We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. So, within the first five minutes of Infinity War people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
Back at the NYCC in 2016, both Thanos creator Jim Starlin and Marvel's Ryan Penagos also teased that Thanos is going to kick a lot off ass!
"They're travelling on the same road that I did with the comics where he is a presence for a long time before he actually starts kicking some tail," Starlin said.
Penagos added: "I will just say that he kicks plenty of tail, and there will be plenty of tail being kicked... It's going to be intense. I'm very excited to see that for sure."
Josh Brolin also previously offered up that Thanos will be a force to reckon with!
"Going back for more more MORE! I want it all," Brolin said on Instagram.
Watch The Avengers: Infinity War trailer below featuring Thanos! I also thought the trailer (and Thanos) looked a lot better on the big screen when I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
