Avengers #4 Reveals Hyperion

Marvel revealed a first look at Avengers #4 where we see Hyperion!

We also see mention of a secret origin..is this the first Hyperion or the King Hyperion who got the crud beat out of him last year in Thunderbolts?

Also, is Marvel trying to give a Superman character a little attention (finally?) or as we have seen Marvel as of late do with their all-powerful characters — kill him off?
