The Avengers (2012): No Thor Helmet In Movie

Seems Thor’s Asgardian helmet will not be in The Avengers.

Well, actually it wasn’t in the Thor movie much as it stands.

“The Thor helmet is actually for the ‘Thor’ movie,” eFX Collectables president Brian Ono told Comic Vine. “You do not see this helmet in ‘Avengers.’ You actually didn’t see it in the ‘Thor’ movie either. You saw it for like two seconds at the very beginning and that was it, it was gone.”

eFX created movie props based on the original moulds from the movie for Captain America’s shield and helmet, Iron Man’s helmet, Thor’s hammer and more.

The Avengers assembles May 4th, 2012 and is directed by Joss Whedon, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
