Anthony Hopkins Compares Michael Bay To Steven Spielberg In Transformers 5 Set Video

Michael Bay found himself in the hot seat with his use of Nazi materials in Transformers: The Last Knight.

Now Anthony Hopkins comes out in support of Michael Bay while on the set of Transformers 5 in London comparing the director to the likes of Steven Spielberg.

“To date, it has been one of the best experiences I’ve had on a film in many, many years. Since Spielberg and Olive Stone… Working with Michael Bay is quite an experience… Directors are certain like Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Bay… they are the best. There’s no political correctness. They don’t take time. They just ‘Let’s do it.’ I love that. Because I’m like that. I don’t like wasting time either.”

Anthony Hopkins role in Transformers: The Last Knight is unknown, but a recent featurette revealed a behind-the-scenes look offering his own part might be involved with the Nazis and WWII. Watch below.
