Next week sees the release of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man 2, and now advanced reviews have hit the net, with the Rotten Tomatoes score becoming known.
Ant-Man and the Wasp has a current Rotten Tomatoes score of 89%, with 59 Fresh reviews to 9 Rotten.
The first Ant-Man movie had a score of 82%, with 86% of the audience stating they liked it, so the sequel looks to be on par or better than the first.
Back in 2015, Ant-Man finished with a $519 million gross.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently tracking for a $75 million opener, which is better than the first movie’s $57 million.
