Back when DC first announced their DC slate of Justice League movies it was mentioned more standalone Superman movies (and Batman) are being worked on. In addition most recently saw Henry Cavill’s manager state Man of Steel 2 is in development.
Now Amy Adams, while doing press with Jeremy Renner for their latest movie Arrival, confirms the new Superman Man of Steel 2 as well.
Amy Adams says she found out the news about Man of Steel 2 when everyone else did and goes on to state she knows they are working on the Man of Steel 2 script.
“I read about Man of Steel 2 when you guys did,” Amy Adams told HeyUGuys in the below video. “A lot of times I find out sort of after the fact [laughs], which is fine. It’s completely normal. That’s not indicative of anything, but yeah. I know they are working on a script, and I know that it’s in the works, apparently. Yeah.”
Man of Steel 2 currently has no release date. Both Amy Adams and Henry Cavill can next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which has a November 17,2017 release date. Arrival opens November 11th.
Rumors for Man of Steel 2 include Brainiac and a possible 2020 release date.
