WandaVision still looks like it is on track for its 2020 release; however, the same can’t be said about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Disney released a new “coming soon” promo teasing upcoming releases as well as current content, which features footage of Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch from the Super Bowl trailer and also included mention of WandaVision in the tweet, but again, nothing about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

“This is the way… to get pumped for the coming months. Start streaming favorites like Hidden Figures, X2, and Big, plus Originals like The Right Stuff from @NatGeo, Clouds, @MarvelStudios’ WandaVision, and a new season of The Mandalorian. Coming soon on #DisneyPlus,” states the tweet released Wednesday.

Update: Disney Plus also posted its Fall calendar where The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is not listed, so it is assumed that WandaVision will be a part of its Winter schedule and get released as originally planned in December:

Marvel delays because of coronavirus shutdowns

The original plan prior to the coronavirus shutting everything down was for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to be released in August, with WandaVision in December.

Prior to the shutdown, it was reported WandaVision was finished filming, but The Falcon and the Winter Soldier still had around two weeks of filming left to do.

It has since been made known that WandaVision is filming reshoots, with both WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier now filming in Atlanta.

So as of now, WandaVision will be released sometime this year.

Regarding why the big delay for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it could be because after finishing those two weeks, the series could still have reshoots left to do.
