The Power Rangers reboot continues to move forward as the plot is made known and The End of the F***ing World director and producer Jonathan Entwistle is in talks to helm at Paramount.

The most recent flick released in 2017 was a big-time box office dud as it only brought in around $142 million, but it cost north of a $100 million to make.

The Power Rangers reboot is said to involve time travel that sees the franchise return to its roots, as it is reported the story is said to involve a time-travel element that brings the kids to the 1990s and, in Back to the Future fashion, they have to find a way to get back to their present.

Patrick Burleigh is also writing the script, who wrote the upcoming Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway and Wish, and Burleigh is also listed as being a part of the crew on Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp.
