Avengers: Endgame Estimated $2 Billion Box Office

Following the trailer release that broke records, now it is being said that The Avengers: Endgame could have upwards of a $2 billion box office.

The number is on part with Infinity War, which also had $2 billion at the box office.

CNBC offers that following the trailer, which has already amassed 43 million views on YouTube in just over a day, that The Avengers: Endgame could follow Infinity War with a $600 million-plus U.S. gross and a worldwide gross of $2 billion.

“There are always caveats to forecasts this far out from release, but we think it’s another strong candidate for $600 million or more domestically, and possibly $2 billion worldwide,” said Shawn Robbins, chief analyst for the Amazon-owned Box Office.com. “The stakes have been raised organically, and the slow reveal surrounding Endgame only intensifies curiosity. We’re talking about the safest box office bet since Avengers: Infinity War itself and the recent episodic Star Wars films.”

As noted, with the release of the trailer, Marvel Studios also moved The Avengers: Endgame up a week to April 26, 2019, and there is really no competition until Godzilla: King of the Monsters on May 31 followed by X-Men: Dark Phoenix on June 7.

Marvel Studios also has the unseen fan anticipation going for them, as requests and demands for the release of The Avengers 4 title and trailer were unlike anything previously seen before.

While I revealed The Avengers: Endgame title prior to Infinity War (a legit leak), there seemed to be a PR campaign put out by Disney to try and mislead fans into thinking the title was something else altogether (in addition to when the trailer was getting released).

Joe and Anthony Russo haven’t been quiet in their attempts to mislead the fans for Infinity War, which we can assume will continue with The Avengers: Endgame.

“We have seen so much content that every average moviegoer has a level of sophistication in their ability to predict what is going to happen in a movie, which is why Anthony and I spent a lot of time trying to hide the secrets of [Avengers: Infinity War], misdirect the way the trailers were cut, misdirect with information. It’s too easy for them to intuit what is going to happen,” Joe Russo said back in May.

The new Endgame trailer might also have potential misinformation as well, which I go into here in my explanation video and article.

The Avengers: Endgame has an April 26, 2018 release directed by Joe and Anthony Russo starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Karen Gillan, Paul Rudd, with Josh Brolin as Thanos.
