Feige On Avengers 4 Trailer & Marketing

Feige On Avengers 4 Trailer & Marketing

Marvel Studios marketed The Avengers: Infinity War differently than other movies and studios, and the same looks to continue for The Avengers 4.

While Marvel Studios included footage in trailers that wasn’t featured in The Avengers: Infinity War, they appear to be doing just the opposite for The Avengers 4 as it looks likely that none of the dead heroes will be used for marketing of the sequel.

Kevin Feige was asked if Black Panther was going to be in The Avengers 4 trailer, which saw him reply, “No. Because he’s gone.”

Obviously as other Marvel heroes are also gone, that must mean they will also be absent from The Avengers 4 trailer and promotion.

“We are working with the greatest marketing team in the world with Disney so I’m anxious to see how they start to put [the marketing] together,” Feige said.

Leaked art features the surviving Marvel heroes, which we can assume will be the basis of The Avengers 4 trailer and marketing.

Writers Stephen McFeely and Chris Markus also recently offered an update.

“Status of Avengers 4 is that we shot it, but it’s not due for a while,” McFeely told Kevin Smith. “There’s time for reshoots and fixing, and we’re just scrubbing through it now. The Russo brothers have been in there for a few weeks now after the press tour and all that. And the whole team is getting together tomorrow.”

The Avengers 4 has a May 3, 2019 release directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
