Warner Bros. has started filming on the highly anticipated IT: Chapter 2, the sequel to last year’s smash hit horror film that adapts the Stephen King novel.
James McAvoy is set to play the adult Bill Denbrough and posted on Instagram.
“Day 1 on IT 2. Glad you got the memo guys,” he said.
The first IT movie took the world by storm raking in over $700 million worldwide, and has even been reported to have “saved” the Fox Studios New Mutants movie.
IT: Chapter 2 has a September 6, 2019 release with Andy Muschietti returning as director and also stars Bill Skarsgård back as Pennywise, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Andy Bean as Stanley Uris, with the young actors returning from the first movie to play their respective characters.
