Baywatch Reboot Reveals First Look at Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne

Fox’s Baywatch reboot has revealed its first look, as new set photos from Venice Beach show Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, Noah Beck, and more in the franchise’s signature red swimsuits.

The images, via Just Jared and Page Six, offer the first real look at the cast filming on the beach in California.

Amell is front and center as Hobie Buchannon, with the photos also showing much of the new ensemble assembled in classic Baywatch fashion.

The reboot comes from creator Lara Olsen and is set for the 2026-2027 season.

Stephen Amell Leads The New Baywatch

Amell stars as Hobie Buchannon, the son of Mitch Buchannon from the original series. The new show finds Hobie all grown up and now serving as a Baywatch captain, following in his father’s footsteps.

The new series also brings in Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hobie’s biological daughter he never knew existed. Her arrival is said to turn Hobie’s world upside down as she looks to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard herself.

The father-daughter angle appears to be one of the main hooks of the reboot, and the new set images show Amell filming alongside several of the younger cast members on Venice Beach.

Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, Noah Beck Join The Cast

The first-look photos also spotlight some of the new names joining the series.

Brooks Nader is playing Selene, while Livvy Dunne has been cast as Grace. Noah Beck is also part of the series as Luke. Additional cast members listed on IMDb include Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Shay Mitchell as Trina.

The cast photos make it clear Fox is going for a mix of recognizable names, younger talent, and social media star power as it rebuilds Baywatch for a new audience.

David Chokachi Returns As Cody Madison

One of the bigger callbacks is David Chokachi returning as Cody Madison from the original Baywatch.

In the reboot, Cody now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill. He still reportedly puts on the red trunks from time to time for the occasional rescue, while also acting as a mentor and friend to the lifeguards.

That gives the new series at least one direct link to the original beyond the Buchannon name, and it adds another legacy element to the reboot.

Baywatch Now Filming

The new Baywatch is scheduled to launch as part of Fox’s 2026-2027 season. Production is now in Venice Beach and at the Fox Studio Lot in Century City.

With the first photos now out, Fox is finally giving fans a sense of what this reboot will actually look like.
