Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed the official title for the upcoming Ron Howard-directed Star Wars Han Solo movie: Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Director Ron Howard unveiled the title in a video released on Twitter also noting they have wrapped filming on the movie.
Hi. Well, as we wrap up production, I just want to take this moment to thank this incredibly talented cast and crew for all their hard work. And to the fans out there, I hope you enjoyed the pictures that I have been sharing, pictures that I have taken from the set of… [looks around] Can we even say the name of the movie? [Chewbacca hands Ron Howad a place card which states “Solo: A Star Wars Story”] I’ll see you next year.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is slated for a May 25, 2018 release directed by Ron Howard starring Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Becket, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, with Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
