Ryan Reynolds wants a Deadpool and Wolverine movie, and he wants Hugh Jackman.
Reynolds filled in EW.com that he is starting an internet campaign to get Hugh Jackman back one more time as Wolverine.
“I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together,” Reynolds said. “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.”
Deadpool first appeared in X-Men: Origins Wolverine, and Hugh Jackman was involved in the marketing of Deadpool. In addition, the Deadpool movie also featured a cameo, of sorts, featuring Jackman.
“Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings. Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy,” Reynolds said.
With the first Deadpool movie being such a success, perhaps Hugh Jackman and Fox Studios would consider a Deadpool and Wolverine movie. And Ryan Reynolds is right, seeing Deadpool and Wolverine together on the big screen would be pretty awesome.
Hugh Jackman is supposed to be finished with Wolverine following the Logan movie, but maybe if there is a lot of fan support, he’ll consider teaming with Reynolds.
