Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme will be joining the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Following Avengers: Infinity War writer Stephen McFeely confirming Doctor Strange a while back, now the latest issue of Empire Magazine has a featured article on Marvel’s Doctor Strange movie in which Benedict Cumberbatch confirms Avengers: Infinity War.
Cumberbatch was asked what’s next for Doctor Strange with his reply being it was the: “logistical challenge of aligning his schedule with those of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany,” adding, “To get us all together will be quite something. That’s why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter.”
In addition to Doctor Strange and those mentioned above, confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War also includes Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy as Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Vin Diesel teased the rest of the Guardians.
Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson (update: Jackson confirms), Jeremy Renner and Chadwick Boseman are also likely for Avengers: Infinity War. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is also rumored.
“Doctor Strange” has a November 4, 2016 release directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong and Mads Mikkelsen.
