The Terminal List Season 2 Release Date Confirmed

Prime Video announced the Season 2 premiere date Monday during Amazon’s Upfronts presentation in New York City.

The Terminal List Season 2 premieres October 21, 2026, with all eight episodes available the same day.

Chris Pratt returns as James Reece, with the season again executive produced by Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, David DiGilio, and Jack Carr.

Season 2 Adapts True Believer

The Terminal List Season 2 is based on True Believer, Jack Carr’s second James Reece novel.

After the psychological revenge thriller setup of Season 1, Season 2 expands into a globe-trotting espionage thriller.

Reece is now on what Prime Video describes as “a journey of violent redemption,” finding a new purpose after completing his list.

James Reece Uncovers A Global Conspiracy

Season 2 sends Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Prime Video says Reece will uncover a conspiracy that stretches from Moscow to Langley and connects to his own family history.

The new season looks to raise the stakes beyond Reece’s personal revenge mission, turning the story into a larger international thriller.

Returning Cast Includes Tom Hopper And Constance Wu

Chris Pratt leads the cast as James Reece.

Returning cast members include Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.

Gabriel Luna joins the series as newcomer Freddy Strain.

Season 2 Adds International Cast

The Terminal List Season 2 also adds an expanded international cast.

New cast members include Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Shiraz Tzarfati, and more.

The additions fit with the season’s larger espionage scope, as the story moves across multiple countries and conflicts.

Prime Video Says Authenticity Remains Key

Prime Video says authenticity remains a core part of The Terminal List.

Executive producer and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and executive producer and former Army Ranger Max Adams oversee the action and authenticity work.

The production also includes military veterans as writers, actors, on-set technical advisors, and directors. Former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza, known for Warfare, is also involved.

Prime Video says the goal is to portray the mindset, brotherhood, and moral complexity of Special Operations with respect and realism.

Who Is Behind The Terminal List Season 2

The Terminal List is executive produced by Chris Pratt through Indivisible Productions, writer and showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Hill District Media, former Army Ranger and writer Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw.

The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media.

About The Terminal List

The Terminal List follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece as he battles conspiratorial forces tied to war, power, and betrayal.

Season 1 focused on Reece’s revenge mission after his platoon was ambushed and his family was killed.

Season 2 now moves Reece into a wider espionage story, with True Believer pushing him into a dangerous new mission tied to global politics and his own past.
